We are an ISBA (Independent Schools’ Bursars Association) partner, and offer both standard design and bespoke wooden storage locker options to primary schools, high schools, academies, colleges and universities.

Design
You will be assigned a Project Manager to liaise with you from initial contact, through to the end of the job. We will design your lockers, either to a standard design, or completely bespoke.

Manufacturing
Our wood is sourced locally and responsibly, and we carry out manufacture on our premises, giving us full control over quality assurance. Crown School Lockers are ‘Made in Britain’ accredited.

Installation
Your lockers will be installed by our experienced team of skilled installers. They pay attention to the finer details, and will ensure your lockers and additional products are to your satisfaction.

At Crown, we are aware that lockers will be used on a daily basis, and are required to withstand the knocks and bumps that they will inevitably receive from students. In schools and colleges, security is paramount – especially now that technology is more prevalent, with the popularity of mobiles, tablets and laptops etc.
With these factors in mind, our products are made to a high standard, and are robust enough to deal with both durability and security in mind. Strong hinges are used in all situations, and are mounted on cast plates, with 2-way cam adjustments. Standard hinges are 110° Salice clips. We can also use 170° hinges if required, and alternatives can be utilised depending upon the application. Each have proven reliability, and do not work loose.
Purpose-designed, 2mm thick lock plates are fitted to the lockers, which are secured using 4 screws. These are used in conjunction with hooked cams as standard, which together, should make lockers secure enough to resist attempts by students to gain entry by other means. A wide variety of locking mechanisms are available, such as padlocks, digital padlocks, digital keypads, and RFID networked locks etc.

Wooden lockers can be customised, using items such as internal hanging rails, extra shelving, and in-locker device chargers, if required. In addition to our stylish wooden lockers, we also able to provide integral locker benches or free-standing bench seating, which can be manufactured in various finishes and colours, and can even be upholstered from a selection of materials.
